About Us

OUR PAST

We are Christians: Dean was saved at the age of nine at Harmony Baptist Church. Betty was saved at the age of twelve at Cub Creek Baptist Church.

We were married in 1972

We have three sons: Matthew, Adam, and Joshua

We have six grand children: four girls and two boys

Dean was called to preach at the age of thirty and has pastored two churches in North Carolina for about twenty years.

In the spring of 2004 Dean knew God was calling him to the mission field.

OUR PRESENT

We began the church planting ministry.

We started Rock Springs Baptist Church in Bradshaw, West Virginia, in October of 2004. We presently have four churches, the second one is Rhodell Community Baptist Church, in Rhodell, WV, the third is The First Baptist Church Of New Richmond, which is in New Richmond, WV,and

the fourth is Shilow Baptist Church in Welch, WV.

OUR FUTURE VISION

Our future vision is to diligently seek God's

guidance for the four churches in WV, to reach more souls in Africa, and in El Salvador.

Proverbs tells us, "Without a vision the people perish." Our goal is to establish sound doctrinal, Bible believing churches wherever God leads us.

One Day Mission Trips to West Virginia for anyone interested in learning or wanting to do mission projects. The only cost for your trip is providing your own transportation and meals. Each pastor is invited to conduct the service, options are doing a food (MEAL) per family in the church, door to door tract distribution, VBS for the children, back to school event, Christmas gifts for the WV children, fruit baskets for adults, treat bags, personal hygiene products, and cleaning supplies, these are all suggestions of what is needful in the very poor areas where there are very few jobs available in the coal mining towns.

Churches from NC took on renovation projects that were needed in the old buildings we are buying which is a great encouragement to the West Virginia people:
